DUBAI: Palestinian Jordanian singer-songwriter Zeyne has surprised fans by announcing a series of intimate summer performances ahead of her previously announced European tour, giving audiences another chance to see the rising regional star live before she hits the stage in September.
The singer revealed the additional dates on social media, describing the concerts as a special run of shows before embarking on her biggest international tour to date.
She is due to play at the Jazzablanca Festival in Casablanca on July 7 and on July 15 she heads to Montreux in Switzerland to perform at the Montreux Jazz Festival.
Zeyne hits the stage at the Gurtenfestival in Bern on July 17 before she performs at the Mahrajan Festival in London on Aug. 1 and the Lowlands Festival in Biddinghuizen on Aug. 21.
Momentum continues to build around Zeyne’s growing international profile. Blending alternative pop, R&B and Arabic influences, the singer has earned a devoted following for music that explores themes of identity, belonging and self-discovery.
