The inaugural function of the third annual conference of the Association of Vascular Access and Interventional Renal Physicians (AVATAR) India Society, AVATAR India 2026, was held in Chennai, on Saturday. The SRM Group and the Apollo Hospitals were among the organising partners of the event.By bringing together renal physicians, vascular surgeons, and radiologists to provide continuing medical education through hands-on workshops, debates, and expert sessions.Sampath Kumar took over as president of the AVATAR Society at the event. A.K. Bhalla, ex-president of AVATAR India, Shyam Bansal of International Society of Nephrology, Guest of Honour Ravi Pachamuthu, and Chief Guest Darez Ahamed addressed the gathering.The AVATAR 2026 souvenir was released by the Dr. Darez Ahamed in the presence of A.K.
