Peach House Lagos has announced the appointment of internationally recognised Nigerian model and actor Davidson Obennebo as its new Creative Director, marking a significant new chapter in the evolution of the Lagos-based fashion brand.

Obennebo brings to the role an international fashion career that began in Lagos and quickly expanded to the global stage. After being discovered by Beth Model Management Africa in 2016, he won the Nigerian edition of the Elite Model Look competition before emerging as the overall winner of the 2016 Elite Model Look World Final, making him the first Black model to win the global competition in its then 33-year history.

His international breakthrough followed soon after, with Obennebo making his Milan Fashion Week debut for Versace, where he opened and closed the men’s show. His career has since included international runway, campaign and editorial work across leading fashion markets, with credits associated with brands including Versace, Dolce & Gabbana, Moschino, Emporio Armani and Balmain.

His appointment at Peach House represents a new dimension to his career, moving from being a face within the fashion industry to helping shape the creative direction and identity of a fashion brand.
