Gospel singer and songwriter, Evans Ighodalo, has said his music is driven by a desire to inspire positive change and influence listeners spiritually and mentally.

Speaking about his creative philosophy in a statement shared with Saturday Beats, he said, “My core message is very clear. Every lyric I write is a word for the young and the old. I feel that beyond making great sound, anyone listening to my record should be transformed mentally and spiritually.”

According to the singer, the words people consume through music can influence their thoughts, actions and relationships with others.

“Both of these factors affect people’s actions, way of living together both individually and collectively as a nation. Our development is highly dependent on the foundations of what we feed our minds with,” he said.
