Ukrainian border guards have captured nearly 40 Russian soldiers in their area of responsibility in the Kharkiv region over a period of just over a month.
Andrii Demchenko, spokesperson for Ukraine's State Border Guard Service, said this on Ukrainian television, according to an Ukrinform correspondent.
"The Donetsk border guard detachment, in its area of defense – specifically within the Vilkhuvatka and Vovchansk communities – captured nearly 40 Russian troops in a little more than a month," Demchenko said.

According to him, despite suffering significant losses, Russian forces continue to send infantry groups in attempts to advance toward Ukrainian positions. The most difficult situation in the areas defended by State Border Guard Service units is currently being observed in the Kharkiv region.
