In recent days, Russian troops have been attempting to storm the positions of Ukrainian border guards near Vovchanski Khutory in the Kharkiv region on an almost daily basis, but are suffering significant losses.
This was stated on television by Andrii Demchenko, a spokesperson for the State Border Guard Service, according to a Ukrinform correspondent.
According to Demchenko, shelling of the territories bordering Russia in the Chernihiv, Sumy, and Kharkiv regions continues unabated. The enemy primarily uses drones, as well as artillery and aircraft.
“As for attempts by infantry groups to advance, I can note that recently there has been activity in the Kharkiv region, specifically in the direction of the village of Vovchanski Khutory. Almost every day in recent days, the enemy has continued to attempt to storm positions held by border units, but fortunately, the enemy has been unable to succeed and is instead suffering heavy losses, including occupiers being taken prisoner,” Demchenko said.
