ABUJA: Chairman, Senate Committee on Ethics, Code of Conduct and Public Petitions, Senator Neda Imasuen (APC, Edo South), has denied any involvement in a political poster portraying him as one of the contenders for the Edo South senatorial seat in the 2027 election.

Imasuen said his name and photograph were used without his consent, describing the poster as misleading. He stressed that he was not the candidate of the Labour Party or any other political party for the 2027 election.

In a statement he personally signed, the senator said he had accepted the outcome of the relevant political process and had not authorised any campaign material presenting him as a contender in the 2027 election.

He warned Prince Omokhodion Okojie and others behind the poster to stop using his name, photograph and identity for political activities without his consent.
