It's been a long summer, but the finish line is in sight. The Minnesota Vikings will take another step towards the regular season when they host the Baltimore Ravens for Saturday's preseason game at U.S. Bank Stadium. Momentum is on the Vikings' side after notching a 13-10 win over the New York Giants in last week's exhibition opener, leaving time to tell whether they can continue stacking wins before September. That being said, the opposition won't go down without a fight. The Ravens are coming off a convincing 24-7 win over the Eagles, and the in-game tension will only be higher after a pair of joint practices earlier in the week. That should make for some entertaining football, even if it's "only" the preseason. For those fans searching for how to get in on the action, you've come to the right place. Here's everything you need to know about the Vikings' preseason meeting with the Ravens, from how to tune into the action to which player is worth monitoring on Saturday afternoon. Viking to watch in preseason Week 2: Chuck Demmings Several Vikings players will be under the microscope during Saturday's preseason action, including rookie cornerback Charles "Chuck" Demmings. The first-year defender has made waves since the start of training camp. Between his entertaining off-field soundbites and a good early on-field first impression (which included defending Justin Jefferson in practice), Demmings has given Vikings fans every reason to believe in his outlook. Not only was that the most among Vikings cornerbacks, per Pro Football Focus, but it was also second only to rookie safety Jacob Thomas (38) on defensive coordinator Brian Flores's unit. Unfortunately, Demmings didn't have a ton to show for it, allowing an 11-yard catch on the only pass he was targeted on. While the lack of action isn't his fault, Vikings fans would have liked to see more than one solo tackle considering how often the fifth-round rookie was on the field. If the Ravens repeat last week's strategy, Demmings could see plenty of action, early and often. They ran 76 offensive plays against the Eagles, including 37 resulting in passing attempts. The Ravens' quarterback room connected on 30 passes (81.8%) for 298 yards and one touchdown with an interception. Regardless of who he's guarding, Demmings will likely have an opportunity to break up passes or come down with a pick. If the first-year CB can do that, there's a good chance he'll play a key role in the Vikings' 2026 secondary. That makes Demmings worth monitoring every time he steps on the field Saturday afternoon.
