APAC data center firm Evolution Data Centres has secured a land lease for a planned project in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.

Local press, including Lao Dong and others, reports that Ho Chi Minh City has approved the lease of five hectares of land in the city to Evolution DC Vietnam HCMC Joint Stock Company for a planned data center.

The land, located in the Saigon Hi-Tech Park, is set to be leased to the company for 50 years. The planned data center could total 52MW.
