Macquarie Asset Management (MAM) is selling its stakes in Polish fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) network provider Fiberhost and telecommunications service provider INEA to Deutsche Telekom for €1 billion ($1.16bn).
Both companies will now be absorbed into the latter’s Polish subsidiary, T-Mobile Polska, with the transaction expected to be concluded at the end of 2026. DCD has approached MAM for comment.

“Over the past eight years, we have partnered with management to support the development of Fiberhost and INEA, helping to create one of Poland’s leading fiber infrastructure platforms,” said MAM’s managing director, Cord von Lewinski, in a statement. “Together, we expanded network coverage, increased wholesale access, and improved connectivity for communities and businesses across the country. We thank both management teams for their partnership and look forward to seeing both businesses continue to build on this strong foundation under Deutsche Telekom’s stewardship.”
MAM is a global asset manager headquartered in Sydney, Australia. It bought INEA, then based in western Poland, in 2018. The telecommunications firm now claims to serve more than 300,000 individual customers. Three years later, MAM spun off its FTTH arm as Fiberhost. The latter firm now operates a last-mile network connecting 3,000 schools and up to 1.4 million homes across eight Polish regions.
