Jacob Elordi was the star guest in London on Thursday night as he touched down for the world premiere of Ridley Scott‘s latest feature “The Dog Stars.”

The actor’s arrival in Leicester Square was immediately soundtracked by the noise of screams from fans, including from a group of girls leaning out of nearby window, who dramatically upped both their volume and pitch when the actor turned to wave at them. The actor also sparked swoons when he walked and posed on the carpet with Rak Jasper, one of three acting dogs who appear in the movie.

Alongside Elordi, “The Dog Stars'” other cast — including Josh Brolin, Margaret Qualley and Guy Pearce — were in attendance at the Odeon Luxe cinema, together with the legendary director himself (who premiered his last movie, “Gladiator 2,” in the same spot less than two years ago).

Speaking to Variety, Elordi described Scott as “the king of movies,” saying that working with him was “such a treat — a dream come true.”

He added: “I don’t think I’ll ever have an experience like that. Yeah. He’s one of a kind and he’s a pioneer of of modern cinema.”
