Key Facts
—The delay: GTCO told the Nigerian Exchange it has approval to file its half-year results by 30 September, instead of the ordinary deadline. The filing was reported on 20 August.
—It is not alone: Zenith Bank has moved its date to 9 October and Access Holdings to 30 September. Zenith cited outstanding regulatory clearance; Access cited both the audit process and CBN approval.
—Already signed off internally: GTCO’s board approved the accounts on 28 July. For GTCO and Zenith what is missing is the regulator’s clearance, not the auditor’s. Access says its audit is still being completed.
