A yet-to-be-identified motorcyclist has died in a lone crash in front of the Federal Government Girls College, along the Iperu-Sagamu Road, Ikenne Local Government Area of Ogun State.
PUNCH Metro learnt in a telephone conversation with the spokesperson for the Ogun State Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Agency, Babatunde Akinbiyi, that the accident occurred around 6:20am on Thursday and involved a red Bajaj motorcycle.
According to Akinbiyi, TRACE operatives and the police responded to the scene, while the cause of the crash could not be immediately ascertained.
He noted that the motorcycle was the only vehicle involved and the rider, a male, was the sole occupant.
