OTTAWA — As Prime Minister Mark Carney looks to land a trade deal with U.S. President Donald Trump, he increasingly faces a two-front trade war.
In Washington, his officials are meeting with their American counterparts to finalize details on what the leaders say is an impending trade deal, with only two days left until a reprieve that Trump granted on new 50 per cent tariffs expires.
