The Bidar Police on Thursday arrested Mastan Kamalapur, the last of the three prisoners who escaped from the Kalaburagi Central Prison recently.Mastan Kamalapur, who was lodged in prison in connection with a POCSO case, was apprehended during a police operation in Islamapur village in Basavakalyan taluk of Bidar district in the morning.Three prisoners, including Mastan, recently escaped from the Kalaburagi Central Prison by scaling its wall. While two of them were arrested earlier, Mastan remained at large till he was arrested.The police launched a search at various places to trace him. He was finally arrested in Islamapur by the Bidar Police, bringing the search for all three escaped prisoners to an end.The police have taken Mastan into custody.
