Tirunelveli Corporation’s special tax collection camp to be held on August 27

The Corporation has proposed to organise special tax collection camps in all four zones under its jurisdiction on August 27.

An official statement said the first half-year for paying property and drinking water taxes for 2026 – 2027 ended on September 30. Hence, special tax collection camps would be organised in Tirunelveli, Thatchanallur, Palayamkottai and Melapalayam Zones on August 27 from 9.30 a.m..

The camps would be held at Vannarpet Office on Salai Street (wards 10 and 11), Sona Mahal on Kottur Road (wards 8, 9, 33 and 34), New Bus Stand Sanitary Inspector’s Office (wards 40, 41, 42, 43, 52 and 53) and Netaji Bose Market in Tirunelveli Town (wards 15, 24, 25, 26 and 27).

All computerised tax collection centres of the Corporation would function on all Saturdays of October this year (except government holidays) between 9.30 a.m. and 4 p.m. to receive the taxes. The residents can also pay the taxes on www.tnurban.epay portal.
