Exposed: 90% of SIU referrals fail to lead to NPA prosecutions

This follows the revelations that out of 5,994 referrals made by the SIU since 2011, only 10% were translated into registered criminal dockets.

Committee members expressed profound frustration at the slow pace of prosecutions, warning that public trust in state institutions has hit an all-time low.
