Total combat losses among Russian troops since the start of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine—from February 24, 2022, to August 20, 2026—amount to approximately 1,472,640 personnel, including 1,480 over the past 24 hours.

This is stated in a Facebook post by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as reported by Ukrinform.

The Russian Federation also lost 12,283 (+7) tanks, 25,165 (+3) armored fighting vehicles, 48,261 (+56) artillery systems, 2,050 (+7) multiple launch rocket systems, 1,577 (+0) air defense systems, aircraft—439 (+0), helicopters—354 (+0), ground-based robotic systems—2,321 (+10), operational-tactical UAVs—470,869 (+1,672), cruise missiles – 5,010 (+0), ships/boats – 35 (+0), submarines – 2 (+0), vehicles and tankers – 136,818 (+500), specialized equipment – 4,551 (+3).
