Volvo Construction Equipment Rolls Out First U.S.-Built Excavators and Large Loaders

Government officials and industry leaders tour Pennsylvania factory to see how Volvo Construction Equipment (Volvo CE) is delivering on its commitment to bring products closer to customers and strengthen its North American footprint.

Volvo CE is significantly expanding its U.S. footprint, resulting in more than 50% of its North American machine supply being produced at its Shippensburg, Pennsylvania facility. A total of 11 additional models will be produced in Shippensburg, shortening customer lead times by more than six weeks.
