MANILA, Philippines — Sen. Robin Padilla on Wednesday expressed support for Interior Sec. Jonvic Remulla’s call to repeal the so-called “Robin Padilla Law,” while also saying that a good way to fight crime is to declare martial law.
“Mas mabuting balita ang Martial Law kaysa sa walang batas o pambabaluktot ng batas! Declare it and I will support!” Padilla said in a Facebook post.
(Martial law is better than having no law or having laws bent. Declare it and I will support it.)
