MANILA, Philippines — The government has released P1.855 billion in additional funding for the Philippine General Hospital (PGH), according to Malacañang.
Palace Press Officer Claire Castro said on Wednesday that the Department of Budget and Management (DBM) released the funds upon the order of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. to help patients cover hospitalization costs and support PGH’s critical and specialized medical services.
Of the total amount, P1.04 billion was allocated to support PGH’s medical services.
