MANILA, Philippines — The Development Bank of the Philippines (DBP) saw its net income climb 20.5 percent in the first half of the year, as lower interest expenses offset a decline in interest earnings.
According to its latest financial statement, the state-run lender’s net income climbed to P3 billion as of end-June from P2.5 billion in the same period last year.
