A 27-year-old Syrian man has been charged with sexually assaulting two girls at a Kenilworth hotel. Police officers rushed to the hotel in Kenilworth, Warwickshire, on Monday evening after receiving reports of a sex attack. Both of the alleged victims were found at the hotel before Ahmad Hania, a Syrian national, was arrested at his home in Nuneaton. Hania has since been charged with sexual assault on a female, one count of engaging in penetrative sexual activity with a girl under the age of 16 and one count of engaging in non-penetrative activity with a girl under the age of 16. He made his first appearance at Coventry Magistrates Court this morning and was remanded in custody. Ahmad Hania appeared at Coventry Magistrates Court on Wednesday after being charged with sexual assaultHania is set to appear again at Warwick Crown Court on September 17. Warwickshire Police said it is supporting both victims and their families.
