Additional Commissioner, Employees Provident Fund Organisation, Swagata Roy interacted with employers from Tirunelveli, Tenkasi and Thoothukudi on Friday.The employers were explained in detail about Pradhan Mantri Viksit Bharat Rozgar Yojana, Employees’ Enrolment Campaign and Vishwas 2026.Employers who have not yet enrolled their workforce in EPFO between 2009 and 2026 can voluntarily enrol their employees before October 31 without remitting the employee’s share if it had not been deducted from the workers. Only the damages of ₹100 will be collected as fine.Since EPFO has introduced hassle-free digital process for the enrolment and the one-time initiative for settling the disputes under Vishwas 2026, employers should make use of the offer.Ms. Swagata and senior officials of EPFO interacted with the employers and clarified their doubts.
