Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation has begun Employees’ Enrolment Campaign - 2025 with an aim of allowing employers to voluntarily declare and enrol eligible employees, who were left out from EPF coverage, between July 1, 2017 and October 31, 2025.

The special compliance window would remain open between November 1, 2025 till April 30, 2026, said Commissioner of EPFO, Madurai Regional Office, S. Azhahiya Manavalan.

Talking to reporters here on Tuesday, Mr. Manavalan said that the special compliance window would help the employers regularise past defaults with minimal penal consequences.

“Employers would face 100% penalty of the total outstanding contribution in normal process for not including eligible employee under EPF coverage for a minimum of six months. However, under the special campaign, the employer need to pay only ₹100 penalty,” he said.

The employers have to make an online submission of details of all the left-out employees between July 1, 2017 and October 31, 2025 in a single declaration form.
