Calling upon TTD employees to draw inspiration from the spirit of the 80th Independence Day, Additional Executive Officer Ch. Venkaiah Chowdary urged them to provide more efficient and humane service to devotees.Addressing employees after hoisting the national flag at his camp office in Tirumala on Saturday, Mr. Chowdary said technology, transparency and systematic management would drive efforts to improve pilgrim services, protect the environment and strengthen administration.As part of its green initiative, TTD is planning 37 additional electric buses with donor support to curb pollution from the 10,000-14,000 vehicles entering Tirumala daily. Around 25 buses are expected during the upcoming Brahmotsavams.He said the upgraded Integrated Command and Control Centre would provide real-time pilgrim data, while technology-based wildlife monitoring would enhance safety. Referring to the recent initiatives, Mr. Chowdary said the food laboratory, digital procurement platform and Nandakam app would strengthen quality, transparency and accountability.He urged employees to learn from shortcomings, accept constructive feedback and continue serving devotees with dedication and human values.
