From January through July 2026, individuals filed nearly 215,000 income and property tax returns, declaring UAH 323.9 billion in income earned last year.
That is according to Ukraine's State Tax Service, Ukrinform reports.
The figure is UAH 16 billion higher than during the same period in 2025. Meanwhile, the number of tax returns filed increased by 5,000 compared with January-July 2025.
"Citizens declared more than UAH 6 billion in personal income tax and UAH 2.6 billion in military levy due to the state budget," the statement said.
A total of 1,025 citizens declared tax liabilities exceeding UAH 1 million. Of these, 72 reported more than UAH 10 million in tax liabilities, while eight declared more than UAH 100 million. The largest tax liability – UAH 760.7 million – was declared by a Kyiv resident.
