I Added llms.txt to Four of My Websites - Here’s What I Learned

Over the past few months, there has been increasing discussion about how artificial intelligence systems discover and use information from websites. With the rise of AI search, the idea of llms.txt has also gained attention - a text file intended to provide AI systems with structured information about a website and its most important content.

Instead of just reading about it, I decided to test it myself.

I added llms.txt to four of my websites, all built with ClassicPress. In this article, I’ll explain how I implemented it, what I put in the files, and what I learned from the process.
