Jump Crypto just moved another 286.83 BTC, worth approximately $18.01 million, to Binance. That brings the firm’s total Bitcoin deposits to the exchange over the past week to 1,560 BTC, roughly $99.2 million.
On-chain monitoring firm Onchain Lens flagged the transfer within hours and categorized it as “suspected selling” activity. When one of crypto’s biggest proprietary trading operations starts parking nearly $100 million worth of Bitcoin on an exchange in a single week, the market tends to pay attention.
What Jump Crypto is actually doing
Jump Crypto is the digital asset arm of Jump Trading, a quantitative trading firm formally branded its crypto division in 2021. The firm operates as both a proprietary trader and a market maker, meaning large asset movements across platforms are part of its daily business.
After this latest round of deposits, Jump Crypto’s remaining Bitcoin holdings sit at approximately 1,410 BTC, valued at around $88.58 million. So the firm has effectively moved more Bitcoin to Binance this week than it currently holds in reserve.
