On Friday, Liverpool FC, one of the English Premier League’s "Big Six," announced that Fenway Sports Group had sold a minority stake in the club to 1892 Holdings.

The group includes K5 Sports, a fund led by Amazon.com, Inc.

(NASDAQ:AMZN) founder Jeff Bezos.

The deal valued the club at just over $7 billion, Business Insider reported Friday, citing a source familiar with the transaction.
