Zimbabwean businessman Wicknell “Sir Wicknell” Chivayo has sparked fresh interest with his high-profile meeting with Eswatini’s King Mswati III, days after his widely discussed visit to Kenya where President William Ruto personally drove him around his farm.

Chivayo described his latest encounter with the Eswatini monarch as a privilege, saying the two shared an evening dinner at the Royal Palace.

In a social media post, the businessman praised King Mswati III for his warmth, humility and vision for Eswatini’s economic development.

He said the monarch had shown strong interest in investment, infrastructure and economic growth, while continuing to support projects linked to his business interests in the kingdom.

“After several visits, I can comfortably say Eswatini is now my third home,” Chivayo wrote, expressing gratitude for the hospitality he received.
