Zimbabwean businessman Wicknell Chivayo has expressed his gratitude after attending President William Ruto’s daughter Charlene Ruto’s traditional Kalenjin wedding ceremony, Koito, describing the experience as an “absolute honour and privilege”.
The Harare-based entrepreneur took to social media to share highlights from the high-profile event, posting images of himself and his wife alongside Charlene, her partner Isaya Yunge, President Ruto and First Lady Rachel Ruto.
Chivayo praised President Ruto, describing him as a “leader par excellence” while commending his administration’s efforts in economic development, infrastructure, housing and agriculture.
“I salute the development you continue to champion across Kenya and the tremendous energy with which you continue working to move this beautiful country forward,” he said.
