VinFast delivered 21,781 electric vehicles in Vietnam in July, bringing its sales for the first seven months of 2026 to 137,697 vehicles and putting the company on course to substantially exceed last year’s record in its home market.

July deliveries increased 21.3% from June’s 17,955 vehicles. The seven-month total is already equivalent to 79% of the 175,099 vehicles VinFast delivered in Vietnam during all of 2025.

The scale becomes clearer against Vietnam’s overall automobile market. Reported sales from VinFast, members of the Vietnam Automobile Manufacturers Association and Hyundai Thanh Cong totaled 604,134 vehicles in 2025, according to VnExpress. VinFast’s 175,099 deliveries represented about 29% of that combined market.

That figure does not capture every vehicle sold in Vietnam. Several luxury brands and imported-vehicle manufacturers, including a growing number of Chinese brands, do not publish detailed sales figures. Even so, the reported market provides a useful benchmark for the scale of VinFast’s domestic business.
