First Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Energy Denys Shmyhal held a phone conversation with Karel Havlíček, First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic.
According to Ukrinform, this was reported by the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine.
“They discussed further cooperation in the energy sector and Czech assistance to help Ukraine prepare for the autumn–winter period,” the report reads.
Shmyhal noted that Ukraine has already received 35 shipments of energy equipment from six Czech donors.
The ministers said their countries are working to expand partnership in nuclear and hydro power, and to develop cogeneration, the oil and gas sector, and hydrogen energy.
