An on-duty TTC electrical worker was injured in an “unprovoked” stabbing Friday morning in Toronto’s Yorkville neighbourhood.

The worker was stabbed shortly after 8 a.m. “in an unprovoked attack” off TTC property near the Yonge and Bloor streets area while they were on a break, the transit agency’s CEO, Mandeep Lali, said in a statement on social media Friday afternoon.
