Woman charged with aggravated assault, robbery, second suspect sought
Toronto police are searching for a suspect and have arrested a woman in connection with an assault and robbery that sent a man to hospital in life-threatening condition on Saturday night.
Police said they received a call shortly after 11 p.m for unknown trouble inside an apartment building near Kingston Avenue and Lawrence Avenue East. The caller said they found a man lying on the floor in a hallway.
The collision on Thursday left one man dead and multiple people seriously injured in Scarborough, according to police.
A pedestrian in his 40s was transported to hospital in critical condition, according to police.
Officers arrested a 37-year-old man at the scene on suspicion of murder and seized a knife.
Police found the woman Saturday morning in the Dundas and Seaton streets area. Her death is currently being treated as suspicious.
