A man has been arrested after being accused of uttering death threats to a person he perceived to be Palestinian.
Toronto police responded to the incident in the area of Lawrence Avenue East and Pharmacy Avenue in Scarborough on Saturday, according to a news release. Authorities alleged that the 32-year-old man went to a business with a weapon and uttered death threats towards people “whom he perceived to be Palestinian.”
David Edward Smith, 58, was charged with uttering death threats, according to a DRPS media release on Tuesday.
