Eleven Haryana Police personnel, including the inspector general of police (IGP) will be awarded the President’s Police Medal for Distinguished Service (PPMDS) and the Police Medal for Meritorious Service (PMMS), an official spokesperson said after the Union ministry of home affairs announced these medals on Friday on the eve of Independence Day.Sub-inspector (SI) Sushila Kaushik, presently serving with the state vigilance and anti-corruption bureau (SV and ACB) has been selected for the President’s police medal for distinguished service.
