In view of the improvement works, including the construction of a macro drain from the Sholinganallur Marsh to the Buckingham Canal by the Highways Department, a temporary traffic diversion has been implemented at Sholinganallur junction.Accordingly, all public vehicular traffic, including Metropolitan Transport Corporation (MTC) buses, will be temporarily diverted from Saturday for a period of 15 days through the following routes: Proceed from Perumbakkam Semmozhi Salai to HCL and then to ELCOT SEZ Junction, take a left turn to reach ELCOT SEZ Internal Road, and then take a right turn towards OMR Road to reach TCS Junction and OMR Road. Motorists, MTC bus passengers, and the general public are requested to plan their travel, accordingly, follow the diversion signboards, and strictly comply with the directions of the traffic police to ensure safe and orderly movement of traffic.
