The Department of War announced two framework agreements Friday with Boeing $BA and RTX to increase production of components for the Standard Missile-3 Block $SQ IB and Standard Missile-3 Block IIA interceptors.
The two deals target expanded output of ship-launched surface-to-air interceptors central to the Aegis Ballistic Missile Defense System and to American naval missile defense more broadly, the department said.
