:The Goddess Mahalakshmi temples wore a festive look on the first Friday of auspicious Sravanam with the devotees thronging the temple to offer special prayers to the presiding deities. Ksheerabhisekham, kum-kum puja and other celestial activities were performed at Mahalakshmi temple located within Lord Jagannath Swamy temple of Santapeta, Vizianagaram. Sri Kanyakaparameswari temple in G.T. Road of Vizianagaram was seen with lot of devotional activities take up as part of Sravanamasa Utsavalu.The temple trustee Narayanam Srinivas and other trust board members coordinated arrangements for the darshan of the presiding deity Kanyakaparamesswari who was adorned with special flowers. Astalakshmi temple located at Ayyannapeta has witnessed huge rush of devotees from early hours.Famous Lakshmidevi temples located in Cheepurupalli of Vizianagaram district, Kammasigadam of Ranasthalam mandal of Srikakulam district, Astalakshmi temple of P.N.Colony of Srikakulam planned several charitable and cultural programmes in their respective premises on the occasion of Sravanamasa utsavalu which will continue till September 11.
