Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) members took out a Tiranga Yatra rally as part of the 150th anniversary of the Vande Mataram song and as part of the Independence Day celebrations in Belagavi on Friday.Hundreds of students participated enthusiastically in the rally, which began at the Gomatesh Vidyapeeth school. Over 1,500 students held a 300-metre-long national flag and shouted slogans of patriotism and nationalism.Leaders like Sachin Hiremath, Shivayya Mathapati, Darshan Vadralli, Darshan Mashannavar, Nagaraj, Adarsh, Saurabh, Rishikesh, Suhana, Veena and other activists participated.
