Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL), Tamil Nadu telecom circle, has announced an initiative aimed at improving the availability and accessibility of mobile communication services in the Salem operational area.BSNL Salem principal general manager Ravindra Prasad, in a release, said that BSNL decided to strengthen and improve the availability and accessibility of mobile communication services in the Salem Central, Salem East, Attur, Mettur, Sankari, Velur and Rasipuram territories under the Salem operational area. As part of this effort, BSNL is inviting expressions of interest (EOI) from eligible and experienced firms to sell SIMs, recharges, bill collection, and allied mobile services through retailers in these specified territories of the Salem business area.This public-oriented initiative focuses on ensuring that essential mobile services such as SIM activation, recharge facilities, bill collection, and customer support are readily available to the public through a wider and more efficient retail network. Selected franchisees will be responsible for sales, distribution, customer acquisition, and service support for BSNL mobile products and services in their respective territories.
