As part of ‘Aam Log, Khaas Kahaniyan Season 2,’ MariaB invited people across Pakistan to share stories of the country’s unseen heroes. From the entries received, four inspiring stories were selected, and MARIAB CARES FOUNDATION has stepped forward to support their missions.
Rawa Khan: Changing lives through education
In Khati Pahadi, Karachi, many families who migrated from Balochistan face tough choices between feeding their children and sending them to school. Rawa Khan solved this by providing food and support equal to what a child would earn through work, so children can attend school instead. Her school currently teaches up to Grade 3, with plans to expand. MARIAB CARES FOUNDATION is now supporting the initiative’s growth.
