DMRC has announced facilitations for invitees and special guests for the Independence Day ceremony at the Red Fort. While celebrations will take place all over the country, special focus will remain on Delhi, the national capital, where Prime Minister Narendra Modi will deliver his customary address from Red Fort, and a majestic parade will also take place.Delhi Metro lines will start from 4am on August 15 (Sakib Ali /Hindustan Times)Keeping in mind the rush for this parade, Delhi Metro services will begin at 4am from all terminals on August 15. This is to facilitate all the special invitees and the general public attending the ceremony at the Red Fort, said DMRCin an X post this Thursday.Trains will run at a 30-minute frequency from 4am on all lines until regular revenue services resume.Pre-vended QRs for inviteesTo ensure smooth travels, DMRC has issued 1,30,000 special pre-vended QR tickets to the Ministry of Defence for Special Guests and invitees. Additionally, invitees with valid physical admit cards issued by the Ministry of Defence will receive special pre-vended QR tickets at designated metro stations to facilitate their journey.
