The Seattle Seahawks and Terrion Arnold have agreed to a one-year deal, according to multiple reports. A former first-round pick by the Detroit Lions, Arnold was released by the team this offseason after he was charged with multiple felonies in connection to a armed robbery and battery case in Florida in February.Arnold voluntarily turned himself into authorities on June 24 after facing an arrest warrant. He faces eight charges in total: three counts of kidnapping, three counts of armed robbery, one count of conspiracy to kidnap and one count of conspiracy to commit armed robbery in the wake of an alleged incident that took place in February. He could face life in prison if convicted.A judge in Florida allowed Arnold to be released on bond and did not require him to wear a GPS monitor because of his employment. During a July court appearance, Arnold's agent, Nicole Lynn, testified in an online hearing that four teams had inquired about employing Arnold. The University of Alabama product worked out for the New York Giants on Thursday, Aug. 12, according to multiple reports.Arnold could face discipline from the league regardless of how his criminal case plays out under the NFL's personal conduct policy.A "Hard Knocks" episode on HBO showed the Seahawks bringing in Arnold for a workout.The 24th overall pick in 2024, Arnold started 15 games as a rookie for a team that won 15 games and finished atop the NFC.The Seahawks' secondary already includes All-Pro cornerback Devon Witherspoon, second-year safety Nick Emmanwori and veteran safety Julian Love.Seattle opens the season on Wednesday, Sept. 9, against the New England Patriots in a Super Bowl rematch.
