One person will be permitted entry to the Freedom Habba for every QR code issued to registered visitors, with more than 3,000 police personnel being deployed for security at the Independence Day celebrations at Vidhana Soudha on Saturday (August 15). Greater Bengaluru Authority (GBA) Chief Commissioner M. Maheshwar Rao on Thursday (August 13) said all arrangements had been made for the event, which will be held in front of the grand steps of Vidhana Soudha. Around 18,000 citizens have already registered for the event, and only registered visitors will be allowed entry.
