New Yorkers plucked hair from their heads and stuck it onto an eight-foot hairball created by beauty brand K18 on Wednesday, snapping selfies to celebrate their contributions afterward.
The K18 Tumblehair, comprising 167 billion synthetic hairs, tumbled through New York City streets this week, generating social media curiosity along the way. Ultimately, the ball of blonde and brunette hair landed on the cobblestones of Gansevoort Plaza for K18’s Hair Longevity Lab activation promoting the haircare brand’s new FutureIQ hair restoration serum.
