MANILA, Philippines — President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. has issued an administrative order directing government agencies to facilitate the voluntary deduction of social protection contributions for contract of service (COS) and job order (JO) workers.

Administrative Order No. 43, signed on June 3, 2026, provides for the voluntary deduction and timely remittance of payments to the Social Security System (SSS), Philippine Health Insurance Corp. (PhilHealth), and Pag-IBIG Fund for COS and JO workers in government.

Prior to the issuance of the order, COS and JO workers personally remitted their voluntary contributions.
