MANILA, Philippines — The National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) has arrested two individuals for operating a spa in Quezon City that allegedly offers commercial sexual services.
Nine female victims working as “therapists” in the spa located in Sta. Mesa Heights, Quezon City, were also rescued during the entrapment operation, according to NBI spokesperson Palmer Mallari.
In an interview with reporters on Thursday, Mallari said the spa used a Telegram app to advertise its female therapists and offer clients their services.
He said the amount for the supposed services ranged from P5,000 to P18,000.
